Utilising specially equipped vans, this nationwide offering brings Wisely straight to your doorstep and as of 2025 is now available not just for BMW i3, but all other electric BMWs and MINIs.

While electric cars need much less routine servicing compared to combustion engine vehicles, all electric BMW & MINI vehicles still require a service every 24 months (irrespective of mileage).
We only use genuine BMW parts, including carbon-activated microfilters, brake fluid, screen wash and genuine BMW oil and filters for vehicles equipped with a petrol Range Extender.



Additionally, a full hour is dedicated to a 115+ point inspection, road test, ISTA fault code analysis, 12V and HV battery health checks, appraisal of brakes & tyres, hinge greasing, fluid top ups and more, going beyond what even a main-dealer service entails.



Lastly, the service record is updated in the BMW AOS / iDrive system, the CBS indicators are reset and a detailed report is provided to you.
As we are recognised by BMW Group as an approved Aftersales partner, any service with us gets added onto their system in exactly the same way as a main-dealer entry, and does not affect the status of any manufacturer warranty your car may have.

POST PURCHASE INSPECTIONS
Did you just get a new to you BMW i3 and want to make sure there are no unexpected surprises?
Our comprehensive i3 inspection gives you a peace of mind and in case the vehicle is covered under warranty, it often pays for itself!
It includes a 115 point check, road test, ISTA fault code analysis, 12V & HV battery health checks and an appraisal of brakes & tyres.
BRAKES
With regenerative braking, electric car drivers rarely end up using their mechanical brakes.
Good for minimal brake pad wear, but bad for disc corrosion, as surface rust can accumulate.
Depending on what your vehicle needs, we can perform brake pad or disc replacements – original BMW as well as OE Febi Bilstein parts are available.
SUSPENSION
The most commonly performed suspension work on the BMW i3 is minor, in the form of replacing torn front damper gaiters or creaking top mounts.
However, should anything more serious be discovered, we carry all the relevant spare parts on the MobileService van – including coil springs, shock absorbers, drop links, and more!
Don’t like how the i3 rides from the factory? We also supply & fit Evolve suspension kits for improved handling and ride comfort, all done with the car never leaving your driveway.
MOTOR MOUNTS
The BMW i3 drive unit is suspended on brackets held in place by rubber motor mounts. These can fail over time, especially on vehicles driven dynamically on bumpy roads.
Over the years, BMW upgraded the hardware to increase robustness by changing the bracket materials, increasing the size of the bolts, and stiffening the rubber blocks.
Only the revised parts are available which are not backwards compatible, meaning in case of motor mount failure on older vehicles, the brackets have to be replaced as well.
ELECTRICS
Just like combustion engine vehicles, the BMW i3 also includes a 12V battery feeding low-power devices in the car such as the lights, wipers, sound system, heated seats, etc.
Our technicians can troubleshoot and carry out work on these systems.
Should you be concerned about the health of the 12V battery, the BMW ISTA diagnostic system gives us the option to evaluate the remaining capacity. If needed, we can replace the unit with a genuine BMW part and code it to the vehicle to maximise its lifespan.
HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICS
The traction electric motor and the cabin heating system are both powered by the high-voltage battery pack.
In case your BMW i3 notifies you with a warning message or there is no warm air in the winter, we can identify the root cause of these problems using the official BMW ISTA diagnostic system and work out the most suitable repair strategy.
Is the vehicle low on range and refusing to charge? A significant amount of charging problems can be diagnosed remotely and rectified right on your driveway without having to move the vehicle to our workshop.
CABIN HEATING FAILURE
A common failure on EVs, and the BMW i3 in particular, is the cabin ‘PTC’ heater. This electric heater (often called the Auxiliary Heater) can fail, meaning no heat. Failure can be sporadic at first, but usually will gradually get worse until functionality is completely lost.
If your heating has stopped working on your BMW i3, we provide a quick and simple replacement service using genuine BMW parts which come with a 2 year BMW guarantee.
As heating failure can sometimes be caused by other faults, as part of a heater replacement booking with us, we will contact you in advance of your appointment to carry out an “over the air” diagnosis using Remote ISTA to verify the fault, thus eliminating any guesswork or risk of replacing an expensive component unnecessarily.

TRANSMISSION
Like most electric vehicles, the BMW i3 features a mechanically simple single-speed reduction gear set.
If you want to prolong the life-span of the internal components, we offer the option to change the e-transmission lubricant.
Should any issues arise, we can replace the entire unit or based on the nature of the fault, individual parts, such as the parking lock actuator.
RANGE EXTENDER
Models equipped with the Range Extender feature a 2-cylinder petrol engine to power an on-board generator which in turn charges the HV traction battery.
We can perform a range of jobs to make sure the engine keeps running smoothly – replacing the fuel pump relay, fuel injectors, spark plugs, oxygen sensors, and much more, all without having to visit a workshop!
In case the petrol tank is not opening, we can determine the root cause and either recalibrate or completely replace the fuel tank pressure sensor.
TRIM & BODY
Door not opening from either side? Rubber seals torn? Tailgate gas struts no longer holding? A cracked under-tray or smearing wiper blades advised during the latest MOT?
Not a problem! We carry the most commonly required parts on our MobileService vans.

We can only carry out mobile servicing on private land (with the landlord’s permission), on a level hard-standing surface with enough space around to open the vehicle’s doors, such as your paved driveway.



Due to the risks involved, we cannot work on the public highway or on a sloped surface. Please also ensure there is space nearby for our MobileService van!




For certain jobs we require internet. We have our own hotspot, but if you are in an area with poor 4G / 5G coverage, we may require access to your Wi-Fi network.
