They told me everything I needed to know about what was wrong with my i3 (not much) and what was going to need doing in the future. And to top it off they were very, very reasonable when it came to pricing. Pretty much everything my main BMW dealer wasn’t. It is so refreshing to meet such nice professional technicians who work in such a methodical way. It has been a great customer experience delivered outside my front door. Having become totally disillusioned with BMW main dealer workshops and their tactics to fleece their retail customers at every opportunity it was a delight to come across Wisely Automotive. I wish the team every business success and hope that the rest of the BMW electric range will be soon added to their growing service offerings.Posted on Paul Hughes25 December 2025 I think I need to add to the flurry of positive reviews for all things Wisely Automotive. Having previously had a 60ah rex back in 2015 I recently got back into i3 world with an impulse purchase of a low mileage 2021 120ah S variant in the summer. Reading the i3 enthusiast FB groups I was quickly alerted to Wisely being the recommended source of all things i3 that cannot be trusted to those pesky franchised BMW dealers. So I booked the car in for its biannual check using Wisely's new mobile service. They add a "distance" fee to the service cost based on how far you are from London (their base) - for me this was £40 which I thought was very reasonable. Due to their popularity I had to schedule something for a couple of months down the line, but all booked via email with ease. On the day Arthur duly appeared (in terrible weather I might add) right on time and got to work. I must say the attention to detail was excellent, this wasn't a case of a rush job as he gave the car a thorough review and advised on all the smaller things (like finding a cross-threaded bolt or blocked nipple etc) that although not "show stoppers" now - could produce future issues. The only major item that came up was the "pitting" of the brake discs (common on i3's whose drivers rely on mostly regenerative breaking), with a clear explanation of the issue and only a suggestion of a change now or at the next service - there was no sales pressure to change them now - this I did appreciate, but decided to get them changed anyway. I have more work planned for my i3s in 2026 (new evolve shocks, maybe springs - maybe anything else I can think of to improve the i3s) and I will now not book with anyone else but Wisely. (This is despite having a franchised BMW dealer literally a quarter of a mile away from my home lol.) So for me it was a 5* service and deserves a 5* review to match.Posted on wasim patel16 December 2025 Very happy with the service from Wisely. Arthur gave my car a thorough inspecting and pointed out a number of imperfections a couple of which I was aware of and several that I was not. He spotted that a previous service which should have replaced the AC filter had not actually been completed. Arthur clearly knows his way around an i3 and I'll be using Wisley for the next service.Posted on Lee Wakefield24 November 2025 Replaced the Aux heater on my drive. Definitely recommend Wisely.Posted on Kenneth Cajigas20 November 2025 I had the pleasure of having Arthur from Wisely come round to take care of several jobs on my car — the biggest being an upgrade to Evolve shocks and replacing the rear brake pads and discs. He’s such a genuinely nice person to chat with, and you can immediately tell how knowledgeable he is. To my surprise, he even looked for ways to save me money compared to the original work I had booked. I’d scheduled a front brake pad replacement, but he spotted a more urgent issue: a torn and leaking motor mount. He advised that it would be better to put the money towards fixing that instead — which I’m really glad I did. I really appreciate that he was proactively checking for other potential issues and giving honest recommendations. He worked the whole day in heavy rain, and it was definitely not an easy job, I'm grateful for it. After driving with the new Evolve dampers for over a week, I’m genuinely pleased with the overall feel. The car felt noticeably softer right from the first drive, especially compared to my old dampers — three of which were still original at 127k miles. For me it’s not a night-and-day transformation, but the ride is definitely more settled, softer, and far less crashy over potholes. Overall, I’d highly recommend Wisely. It’s no surprise the UK i3 community rates them so highly, and we’re very lucky to have them offering mobile servicing across the UK. Arthur was superbly efficient, it’s an absolute pleasure dealing with this company, and a repair at home, it couldn’t be easier. They must be one of the leading experts on the BMW i3. I don’t intend to go anywhere else the service and mechanical needs of our i3!
