Posted on Geoffrey Morgan13 April 2026 Before buying an i3 I did a lot of research on the car and what almost put me off was the likely cost of servicing, repairs and parts if I used BMW. Fortunately, during this research I discovered Wisely and although (unfortunately) they did not have an i3 at the time I needed one, I have recently used them for a post-sale inspection on an authorised used car from BMW. Kian did a full detailed check of the car, including via the ISTA system; 12v and main batteries at full strength and all seems fine. The wheels were also removed to check discs, suspension etc. Kian also kindly refitted the 12v battery vent pipe (which BMW had forgotten to do when they fitted a new battery!) and tightened both door handles - something else BMW claimed to have 'done their best with' but they were still a bit loose. On time (well, a bit early, but I was phoned beforehand), pleasant, friendly and professional service and a reasonable cost for a mid-BMW warranty check-up. The cost of BMW parts is still a worry (hopefully few will be needed), but at least the Wisely labour costs etc. are far less painful than BMW. Collection day and the car was prepared beautifully, the paperwork complete, the handover relaxed but still comprehensive, notably the i3s is my first electric car and it was their communication on YouTube that guided me to that car and Wisely themselves. I unreservedly recommend Wisely and will be looking forward using their remote servicing offer, I live in Cornwall and they are happy to offer the service even at that distance… and yes my first all electric drive was to Cornwall and remarkably easy Thank you a very happy customerPosted on Waqas Ahmed26 March 2026 So I didn't get my car from here but I did get my (mobile) service from here as Wisely are considered one of the best, so I booked them in for a service. Everything was great tbh from the booking process with Emma, to the actual servicing, as well as answering my questions about how to connect cables to my 12V battery if I ever need to + what petrol to use. Arthur told me using the cheapest petrol is fine given the tank is highly pressurised. Kian showed me how to connect cables to my 12V battery too in the event of a breakdown too Arthur showed me exactly what needs monitoring, and what needs looking at urgently as well as optionally. I found them to be very knowledgeable about the cars, and I'd book them in again. The only downside I guess is that they're on the pricier end but they're pretty decent , so horses for courses. I'd definitely recommend and it's no surprise why they have an impeccable five star review on Google reviews apart from that one random person who reviewed the whole of Canary Wharf tooPosted on Mike Maryon26 March 2026 Can’t fault their expertise – bi-annual i3 service and old shocks changed for new Evolve ones, all done in an afternoon at my home. Also really pleased to find my HV battery on my 22 Reg i3s was still 100%.
