WHERE IT STARTED
Wisely Automotive is a family-run independent business in London, specialising in selling, purchasing, servicing and repairing used BMW & MINI electric vehicles.
Founded in 2015 by Arthur and Emma, who share 20 years of BMW main-dealer experience, the business began with a simple goal: to deliver a better, more personal customer experience. In the early days Wisely stocked everything from entry-level MINIs to a McLaren 12C. EVs were still new territory for most dealers, but at Wisely intrigue was high and in 2017 the team bought a Solar Orange BMW i3 for their own use. Its clever engineering and distinctive design quickly won them over

That spark shifted Wisely’s focus towards electric cars, leading to a diverse stocklist of early EVs including Tesla Model S, Jaguar I-PACE, Renault Zoe, Smart EDs — and even a historically significant Tesla Roadster, Europe’s Signature 250 VIN #000002.

As the business grew, Martin and Eddie joined the team, and in 2019 Wisely opened its base on Raymouth Road. With more i3s arriving for sale and support, Arthur and Eddie began learning the full depth of i3 maintenance and repair, laying the groundwork for the specialist service Wisely offers today.

A major catalyst for growth came in 2021 with the launch of the YouTube channel, created by Martin. Now with over 21,000 subscribers and more than 3 million views, it has become a trusted guide for i3 owners and prospective buyers around the world.

By 2024, demand for i3 servicing and repair had accelerated, leading to the launch of MobileService, Wisely’s nationwide mobile support for i3 owners. The mission now is clear: to support every aspect of BMW i3 ownership long into the future, while continuing to build expertise across the wider BMW & MINI electric range.
